This week is bittersweet and with a photo that will be one of my favorites forever and ever.
We spent this week at my 91 (in September) year old mother’s bedside. On Wednesday she turned her head and watched the breeze as it softly moved the leaves and flowers about on the bottle brush tree just outside her glass slider. It was a good day for her. And before she closed her eyes to rest at sunset, this lovely bottle brush tree was the last thing she ever saw.
